Hey everyone! Welcome to my website. I’m K.S. Shay, but call me Kate. I’m a writer and lover of everything strange, creepy, and magical who is represented by Brenna English-Loeb of Transatlantic Literary Agency. My first novel, MAEVE AND THE OTHER MARSH, is coming out in Fall 2026 from Erewhon books! It’s been such a blast to work with Diana Pho and her incredible, incredible team.

Wow, this website is very boring and ugly. What gives?

OK LISTEN I really want to code up a beautiful website, AND I WILL. But what I want more is to become a goodreads author, and I can only do that if I have my writer email under the contact section of my website. So this website is basically JUST for whatever goodreads person checks to see if I’m real (yes, I’m so real) so I can claim my book and try to convince my tiktok followers to add it before the clock app gets banned 🙁 then i will make a prettier website I swear. Like, pinky promise.
